Not only are polaroids a useful medium for my work, I still get excited about getting my picture instantly. In 2001 while going through my polaroid archive I discovered that many of the places that I had photographed had changed or didn't even exist anymore. Viewing these polaroids I realised why I turned to this medium of photography to express myself. To me, a polaroid makes a unique statement about a subject which a "normal" photo can't.

After digitizing and initially experimenting with different print sizes, I now enlarge the polaroids up to 1.50 x 1.50m (5 x 5ft). The number of prints is limited to 3 per picture.
